On-Site Calibration

What is “On-Site” Calibration?

We bring all of our calibration standards to your location and temporarily set up shop on one of your test benches. We’ll use the same procedures and test equipment that we do here at our own shop. You’ll also receive a calibration sticker and certificate showing the calibration test equipment used. Our standards are, of course, still traceable to NIST.

Who might be interested in “On-Site” Calibration?

You might be interested if:
1) More than 1 day turn around time is important to you
2) You don’t want to ship your instruments
3) Your business is within 300 miles of the Chicago area

Details and Pricing

We would like you to schedule an “On-Site” Calibration about a month before you need the service.

Unfortunately, we usually can’t perform any major repairs or troubleshoot any problems on site. However, if you let us know about minor repairs we can usually bring those parts along and add on any labor at our normal shop rate of $70 per hour.

Generally, we need at least 4 instruments to justify the trip. The flat calibration charges for 4 to 8 instruments are 10% higher than our shop rate. If you have 9 to 12 instruments the calibration is the same as our shop rate. And, if you have over 12 instruments in one location, you’ll qualify for a 25% discount from our shop rate!
